Component parts

Our in-depth knowledge of how guns are made enables us to assess suspected gun and ammunition component parts and put them into context with regards to the Firearms Act 1968. It may well be that items seized by the police could be regarded as accessories or originated from a non-firearm and are not classified as component parts of a firearm subject to restriction.
