Arquebus Solutions appoints Forensic Firearms Consultancy to support its new Ballistics Managed Service solution.
Forensic Firearms Consultancy are delighted to announce its appointment by Arquebus Solutions as the company’s independent forensic firearms experts. The appointment comes as Arqeubus Solutions announces the launch of its pioneering Managed Service solution.
The solution allows for the processing of bullet and cartridge case based material using the state of the art Integrated Ballistics Identification System (IBIS) produced by Forensic Technology Incorporated (FTI) of Montreal, Canada.
This new and exciting service caters for many of the eventualities and challenges faced in the processing of ballistic material such as: –

- Legal Test Fires
- Outstanding Crime File (OCF) acquisition
- Ballistic comparison technology update
- Outsourcing
- Disaster Recovery.
As well as supporting Arquebus in the forensic process development associated with the service the FFC team will also provide independent assessment of the Managed Services system of work as the company moves towards ISO17025 accreditation.
