Angela attends NIST OSAC GSR Meeting, Houston

Angela was very pleased to accept an invitation to attend the in-person meeting of the Organisation of Scientific Area Committee (OSAC) in Houston, Texas, on 5-8th November 2018. The meeting was attended by the Chemistry/Instrumental Analysis Scientific Area Committee (SAC) and their 6 subcommittees (includes GSR) and the Crime Scene/Death Investigation SAC and their 7 subcommittees.

The forensic science subcommittees develop and vet documents (standards, guidelines, code of practice) for approval through the SAC’s and Forensic Science Standards Board.

Angela is an Affiliate Member of the GSR subcommittee and has been working with the Report Writing Group on a standard report writing document. The document was pitched at the meeting and received favourable feedback and will move to the next phase.
